Chef Timothy Witcher

witcherChef Timothy Witcher’s career started very early, like many chefs, in his mother’s kitchen. Watching his mother take raw ingredients and make magic happen inspired him to appreciate the art. From that point he knew he wanted to be a chef.

Chef Timothy Witcher’s professional training started in 1994 when he attended the Burlington County Institute of Technology’s Culinary Arts program. Influential chef instructors planted the basic culinary arts skills that allowed his natural talent to blossom, and in 1998 he received the career major award for culinary excellence. It was also the place he was introduced to a young Kevin Sbraga, chef/owner of Sbraga Dining.

Chef Witcher’s professional education continued at The Academy of Culinary Arts in Mays Landing, New Jersey. The fine culinary institution granted him access to numerous chefs from around the world whose fountain of knowledge sprung innovative food ideas that remain till this day. In 2000, Timothy received the gold medal for culinary excellence.

Chef Witcher has run high-end culinary operations for numerous corporations, including: Executive Chef at the Wyndham Hotel Mount Laurel New Jersey, Executive Sous Chef at the Hilton Hotel Cherry Hill New Jersey, Executive Chef consultant at Exceptional Taste LLC Hamilton New Jersey, Chef de Cuisine at Victors Club with ARAMARK Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Executive Chef of Suite Catering and Lexus Club at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Chef Witcher took his culinary passion and focused it on educating the future chefs of America. He accepted a position as Culinary Arts instructor at The Burlington County Institute of Technology where he was named the 2012 teacher of the year. Now Chef Timothy is the Culinary Arts instructor at Camden County Technical School’s Gloucester Campus, where he works with a dynamic team of culinary professionals educating the greater Camden County Community.
Currently Chef/Host of Jersey Chef Cooking Show on YouTube, Special Events Chef with Sbraga Dining LLC, and Owner of Witcher Dining Experience, Chef Tim Witcher has stayed engulfed in the trends and current culture of the culinary world.

Chef Witcher’s achievements started gaining local and national recognition in 2014 when he won Food Network’s Show “Rewrapped” (Let Them Eat Cake episode) then went on to win 2016 “Chopped” (Redemption episode).
