Lucmann came from very humble beginnings, arriving to the United States from Haiti at the age of 13. Throughout high school, Lucmann observed what “success” really meant by watching both of his parents’ lifestyles and work ethics. Success meant sacrifice, hard work, commitment and determination. It always, always meant having a giving heart, thus making it an easy choice to begin his professional career in the service industry.
Lucmann began his culinary experience right after high school. In order to fund his college education, he was fortunate enough to have landed a job working for the Marriott Corporation. There he spent several years servicing the IBM Executive Conference Center. Little did he know that this would be the beginning of the Le Pierre vision. This particular venue catered to High¬End Executive clientele from all over the world. Throughout his tenure working for Marriott at the IBM Executive Conference Center, Lucmann had the opportunity to work side by side with some of the best in the industry and was trained by some of the top CIA trained culinary Chefs in the country and abroad. During that time he embraced the culinary arts and grew a love and passion for cooking elegant cuisines. His exposure to such Chefs from Italy, France and the Caribbean has influenced him to develop his own unique style.
While working at the Marriott, Lucmann had the great honor and the privilege of providing services to the former UN President, The United States Governors & Senators, the NBA, the former President “Bill Clinton” and the White House for an Education Summit and many more. Upon successful completion of the Education Summit, Lucmann was honored with a service award directly from the White House for providing superb service to the President.
After obtaining his college degree in Information Technology (IT), Lucmann left the culinary arts to pursue a successful corporate role in Retail IT. Several years later, his wife inspired him to come back to his true love of the culinary arts by Launching Le Pierre Caterers.
Since the launch of Le Pierre Caterers, Lucmann has built strong relationships with 50+ venues throughout NJ, PA & NY and supports several Non¬Profit charitable organizations. As a former Board member and immediate Past¬ President of the Greater New Jersey chapter of the National Association for Catering Events (NACE) and also an active member of the Philadelphia/South Jersey NACE Chapter, he has focused on staying current with industry trends and on building strong relationships with local and national industry professionals and leaders, in order to provide top notch service to his clientele.
For 5 consecutive years, Le Pierre Caterers has been nominated for “Best Businesses/ Caterers” in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area and was recognized as “TOP 5 BEST” in both categories in Philadelphia and the Jersey Shores 4 years in a row by Fox 29 “MyFoxPhilly Hotlist”.
Chef Lucmann Pierre himself has become quite a TV personality and gained national exposure, as he has been featured on multiple television shows on NBC, such as “TODAY’s Kitchen Hot Chef” on “THE TODAY SHOW” and “In Your Kitchen” on “THE 10! SHOW.” Lucmann has also been selected by the TODAY SHOW producer to be a contributor to their web segment called “TODAY’s Cooking School” on MSNBC. Adding to his resume, Lucmann is now a cookbook author, as he Co¬authored his first recipe book, entitled “Catering Events” with 9 other chefs from the around the country.
With the responses and feedback Le Pierre Caterers has received from current and returning clients, as well as receiving top accolades from other industry leaders, Lucmann has definitely reached his goal of creating a Premier Off¬Premise catering company in the Tri¬State area. He continues to exceed all expectations in the areas of Off¬-Premise Catering services, as he maintains a high reputation for providing delectable cuisine, unprecedented presentation and unparalleled service.
